I need to get this off my chest so please bear with me a bit.

Everywhere I've gone, with few exception, I've been an outcast, picked on, pushed around and generally made to feel like no one wanted me around. DA, and a few others are the exceptions to this btw.

It's not a good feeling and looking back it's probably a contributing factor to the mental health problems I have, though a good deal of that is also biological in nature.

The people who were supposed to be there to help, like teachers, principals, and the like, were no help. Most them were concerned with the popular kids, the good looking kids or in other words, the people considered to be worthwhile.

In my time in school I've been spanked with a paddle without parental consent or notification, I've been punched in the privates by girls during class, I've had rocks thrown at tme and hit me in the head and I've had people try to kill me by holding me underwater during swimming classes. None of those times did an authority figure actually do anything to help.

I admit to being different, and I admit to being a geek, a Christian and someone who is easily hurt. I've been hurt very baddly in my life and I likely will be again.

All in all I guess all I ever really wanted was for people to like me for who I was and to like having me around.

I've found that to a degree with those of who are my friends here on DA and for that I'm very grateful. I'm just a little down today because the memories hit me hard for some reason.
